thegayhistoryoftheunitedstatesofamerica.com
if/when it gets done needs not only /gaybars directory it needs /legendarygaybars where "last published websites can be archived for history along with articles like this
www.thegayhistoryoftheunitedstatesofamerica.com/legendarygaybars/archived/barracuda and add to that sub-directory "articles about"

Hm funny how I stumble down this road for my "notes" something similar to www.gaycities.com is probably what www.thegayhistoryoftheunitedstatesofamerica.com could be developed into but I hear "keep it cheap and simple" in my head and just make it a A-Z yellow pages and A-Z white pages where users (business or personal) just create their own listings. All information can just be gleaned from other sources and entered/uploaded and I could just enter the basics enough to give it a "stock look" so basically when you want a nice comprehensive list when going to or looking up a city rather than Google and going through all those search returns you go to www.thegayhistoryoftheunitedstatesofamerica.com and you see a "search city" box you enter the city and it gives you a list and at the top of the list are "sponsored returns" of businesses that are paying a fee to be displayed and below you get a A-Z by last name or first name of "personal listings" of people who have completed a personal page which is basic profile with links to all their social media including a list of check boxes of hook up apps/sites they use (ie: grinder, adam4adam etc.) but if you see a profile with pics you like you can message them directly through our portal avoiding all the "work" of dealing with social hook up apps, or simple exchange Grindr or other display names so you can take conversation to Grindr/Adam4adam etc since some people prefer that. In any event the point I'm trying to make is that so many of us are over the waste of time that hook up apps have become, take me for example, as long as I design www.thegayhistoryoftheunitedstatesofamerica.com as a way to bypass the annoyances and work that is finding people places and things by just having a better directory pre-loaded with people and places, "we here at the history project" aren't concerned with having absolutely everything we are concerned with having the best, easiest to use, directory that will result in you meeting good people and having a good time. A KISS - keep it simple stu*id philosophy that gets around the 50,000 details of every current system that are an absolutely annoying buzz kill. If I feel this way about these things as a single gay guy, as my usual saying goes so does probably 50% or more of the LGBTQ+ community. You know when you want to go somewhere or do something to go somewhere mix, mingle, and have a good time, or I should say "to find the best time with the best people" just look here www.thegayhistoryoftheunitedstatesofamerica.com "it's where you will find anyplace or any person that is anybody" lol to use an old phrase. "The people there take me back to to good old days, before the apps made everything really annoying" (there maybe that's the conceptual concept description BRAINSTORMING 101 copy paste to Google document send to computer Kris )

www.boyculture.com Matthew Rettenmund note his www.bouculture.com main screen has a button "follow Matthew Rettenmund" that when you click it takes you directly to his www.x.com account so note to self if you are serious Travis Berg of developing this to the next level you need to get on x/Twitter with your real name soon AND see if you can resurrect www.twitter.com/phoenixgayhist or whatever screen name you "need one personally and one for the project" you technically need a social media account set up master document for both projects. Soon enough you'll have a permanent desk to work on this at , just be patient. End of concept notes for now.
